Sidebar Navigation

The Sidebar is the top level navigation for Channels. By default, it contains the main sections of Channels. But with customization, you can add any section you want, to suit your viewing habits.

Customize it

The Sidebar lets you choose which sections it shows. By default it shows Home, On Now, Guide, Recordings, and Search.

If you’re a big movie watcher, you can put the Movies section right in the top level navigation. If you never use On Now, you can turn it off and hide it.

In the App

From within the Channels app, you can customize which sections are showing in Settings > General > Manage Navigation.

Simply toggle which sections should show or be hidden.

Using Server Side Settings, you can manage the items of your Sidebar for all of your clients at once, or set different items for different clients.

Visit Settings > Clients and scroll down to the Sidebar Navigation section.

From here, you can manage your Sidebar items with more freedom. Not only can you manage which items are in the Sidebar, you can adjust their order in any way you want.

Addtionaly, you can add Personal Sections to the sidebar to further customizing your experience while using Channels.
