Channels DVR Server officially supports Apple Silicon Macs.

Native Support

13 days after they were released, Channels DVR Server now runs on Apple Silicon Macs natively. If you’re installing Channels DVR Server for the first time with our Mac installer, you’ll be good to go.

If Channels DVR Server is already installed on your Apple Silicon Mac, just download the Mac installer again and re-install it. First uninstall Channels DVR Server, then install it. After installation, you’ll be running the version optimized for your computer’s architecture.

You’ll know that you’re running the native version for your architecture by checking it in Activity Monitor. It will list the channels-dvr process’ architecture as Apple.
